Street Markings
Yellow or white
Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines can have yellow or white street markings.
Bollards
๐ฒ๐พ Malaysia
Malaysian bollards come in different shapes but will often have the colours black, white, grey and red.

Cambodian bollards are red and white. They can be striped or divided into just two sections as shown here.

Khmer, the language in Cambodia, can be identified by the small hooks on the top of almost every symbol, which point to the right.
๐ฎ๐ฉ Indonesia
The Indonesian language is very similar to Malaysian. Indonesian is influenced by Dutch and Malaysian by English. It's often hard to distinguish the two though.
Signposts
Others
๐ฒ๐พ Malaysia
Malaysia occasionally features a unique road characteristic: thick, yellow lines that run perpendicular to the road.
๐ฑ๐ฐ Sri Lanka
Sri Lankaโs Google car in Generation 3 coverage has blue, white and red stripes, resembling the French flag.
๐ฑ๐ฐ Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka's Gen 4 coverage uses low-cam, meaning that (1) objects around you are seen from a lower vantage point, (2) roads look wider, (3) the Google car generally looks bigger and has a wide circular blur.
๐ฑ๐ฐ Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has a very tropical feel with many palm trees. It also can have distinct reddish soil. Generally, if you see palm trees with few other clues, Sri Lanka can be a reasonable guess.
๐ฐ๐ญ Cambodia
Cambodia has lots of advertisements for beer brands. Angkor and Ganzberg are two common ones, both featuring red signs.
